The start of the new year is exciting because it means that I get to start the year off with a clean slate. This year, my main resolution is to improve my grades in my classes. Many times I don’t complete my homework and this lowers my average. If I did all my homework, my grades would improve and more importantly, I would understand the concepts better. In order to improve my grades, I will listen more closely in class, not talk so much, and write down my assignments in my planner. At home, I will complete my homework without being distracted. I know if I work really hard I can accomplish my goal.

Nice job Matt! I liked the way you first told why you thought the new year was exciting and stated your resolution and how you can accomplish it I hope you can improve your grades because that is a good resolution. It is a good resolution because it will help your grades and you can learn more. I think you could have gone into more detail about which class you want to improve in otherwise nice blog post and good topic.
